I am trying to edit the Toolset archive pages on my site but when I go to do so, I just get a scrambled bunch of short codes and broken images.

It looks like the interface is broken.

My reason for wanting to edit this archive view is so that I can wrap a list of post images in a URL.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

It seems that you build your archive using Block mode earlier and now you are editing it using the classic editor.

Can you please try to edit your archive using Block mode.

Please navigate to: Toolset => Settings => General Tab => Editing Experience section => Select optoin "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build" and then further select with section "Editor to use for WordPress Archives" select "Block Editor.

then try to edit your archive, do you see you able to edit your archive using block mode?
