I added an image field to my custom post type.
On the single post type template built with toolset I tried both the kadence and the toolset gallery widget, using dynamic content to grab the image from the custom field and insert it into the gallery. It simply did not work.

Even if I just tried to display the image with the fields and text shortcode, it still does not work. For what ever reason, image field is not working.

I've added a Toolset 'Gallery' block in the 'Template for Portfolios 3' and it seems to be showing the image from the 'Project Gallery' image type field correctly.

Thanks, I dont know why it did not work when I did it.
I do have an issue with kadence and toolset both loading the lightbox at the same time creating double pop ups.
I would prefer to use the kadence dynamic advanced gallery but that cant seem to pull data from these images fields.

I also noticed that the custom image field has very limited features and lacks the ability to click and update the alt and image title.

For now, Im going to stop using the image field as it wont provide a good user interface for me needs.
I would like kadence blocks to have the ability to grab these images and I have submitted a support request but they dont suggest using tool set to begin with so Im not sure how much help they will be.

With multiple images coming from a single image type custom field, allowing editing of their alt text and caption at the block level would be too cumbersome and complicated to manage. Especially considering the case where a gallery block is used in a content template that is assigned to all posts in a post type. That block would be getting images and their data from individual post pages dynamically.
This is why the block level controls only the dynamic source of the alt text and caption and the actual data editing of an individual image can be done by using the 'Replace Image' button under the image thumbnail (or directly through the media library).
I hope this explanation helps and please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
I guess I would just ask, if you have access to a pro kadence blocks plugin to try populating dynamic content using your image field pulled into a kadence gallery or image block. I was unable to get kadence to pull that data and therefore had to abandon using features I intended to use from toolset.
I've performed some tests on my website with the Kandence Pro dynamic source feature and Toolset image field and couldn't make the two work together either.
So, I'm afraid until the compatibility is introduced at the official level, you'll have to use the Toolset's own blocks for showing dynamic images from the image type fields.
