I need to admit that there is a "steep learning curve" in using the 'Toolset', contrary of what was my first impression when I decided to go this way...

Nevertheless, I'm grateful for the documentation that one can find here in your website, in spite of the difficulties that one can experience in trying to find out the same information again, until Google comes to your help.

I've been working hard to setup a website using 'Types' and 'Views'. Everything worked as expected until I decided to use Layouts. I did some integration with the theme just to configured the Custom Taxonomies Archives. It didn't work and when I tried to roll back to the initial configuration it didn't work either, so I would like to have some advice if possible.

What I'm trying to achieve, is to configure the Taxonomy Archives with Layouts the right and most effective way.

I have CPTs with hierarchical taxonomies, e.g. Språk (Languages) with different terms (svenska, engelska etc)

The Layout should include a Taxonomy Archive cell to display all the posts of a specific taxonomy therm, i.e. svenska (Swedish) with the following URL:
hidden link

Currently, whats it shows are all posts in the database instead of a page for the defined taxonomy.

I already tried different combinations + read a lot of information including:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/display-term-fields-on-archive-page/
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-a-child-view-in-a-taxonomy-view-layout/
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/create-custom-taxonomies/

Please find attached several images with my current configuration. Thank you in advance.

Dear henry,

In your screenshot:

I can see you are displaying a normal view inside the taxonomy archive view, it will conduct unexpected result, I suggest you follow our document to setup the wordpress archive view:

Dear Luo,

I appreciate your prompt reply. Thank you for your support and advice, it works now.

Another issue - when I try to update the Toolset, I get a failure response telling me 'to cancel the subscription from this web place' and to register again? I did that two times now without any success.

Henry
