Dear Sir/Madam,

Please refer to the video hidden link, my site is mainly in Traditional Chinese and date format is set to d-M-Y but I want to show the month in English ( Dec ) instead Chinese ( 12 月 ), how can I force to show the date in field as 17 Dec 2022 instead of 17 12 月 2023, and keep the new date as same format.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I've performed some testing and research and noticed that the Toolset's date picker field's function gets the date localization from the current language set by the website or the current user. There is no filter or option available to override that to show the date's month in a different language and a couple of workarounds that I tested also didn't work.

regards,
Waqar

I understand your meaning, I think you are talking about the date format after I change, how about the date format when loading the form, I guess this is the label, can I do it from the short code in POST form?

Yes, your understanding is correct and I was referring to the date that is populated in the date field, once a date is picked from the date-picker/calendar.

Toolset processes that selected date and convert it to a UNIX timestamp equivalent and then stores that as the custom field value. So, changing/customizing that before or after the date-picker is used, can bring in unexpected results.
