Tell us what you are trying to do? Selecting a specific custom post type from the "This view will display - post types:" that was previously selectable, but is now not displayed as an option anymore. The view basically "lost" this custom post type from the selectable options. However, the custom post in question still exists and is used across the site.

The last time the custom post type was displayed as a selectable option was in toolset views v. 3.3.5. We are now using 3.5.3
No settings have been changed for the custom post type itself.

Is there any documentation that you are following? no

Is there a similar example that we can see? not that I can think of

What is the link to your site? This issue specifically is not visible in the frontend.

Hello,

I assume we are talking about the section "Content Selection", see my screenshot content.JPG

If it is, the problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset Views plugin, you can download it here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/#legacy-plugins
The latest version is 3.6

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to WordPress default theme 2021, and test again

3) Also check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

4) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page URL and view URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

I checked the source code that outputs the list of post types and it simply gets all public post types and doesn't apply any other logic:

$post_types = get_post_types( array( 'public' => true ), 'objects' );

It sounds like the post type in question is not set to public.

Is it a post type registered with Types? Or a post type from a 3rd party?

It is is registered with Types, are you able to access the database (e.g. with phpMyAdmin) and retrieve from the table wp_options the option named wpcf-post-types?

Could you paste the results here and we can check the settings for the post type?
