Hi,

When trying to create a view, custom fields does not appear in the dropdown menu in for instance adding a image to a loop. I've watched your training video and follow your steps, but it doesn't appear in the same way in my page.

Hi Christine,

Thank you for waiting.

During the testing on my website, I wasn't able to reproduce this issue, which suggests that this is something specific to your website.

To troubleshoot this, I'll suggest the following steps:

1. Please make sure that WordPress, active theme, and plugins are all updated to the latest versions.

2. It would be interesting to test this with all non-Toolset plugins disabled and a default theme like Twenty Twenty.

If it's fixed, you can start adding the disabled items, one-by-one, to narrow down to a possible conflicting one.

3. In case the issue still persists, I'll need a clone/snapshot of your website so that it can be investigated on a different server, without affecting the actual website.

Please let me know how it goes and I've set your next reply as private.

Hi Waqar,

I tried disabling plugins, and when I disabled WP Bakery Page Builder, the custom fields showed up. So that seems to be the plugin creating the issue. My problem now is that I have built most of my pages with this plugin tool, and therefore need to have it active in order to edit those pages. Do you have any suggestions or previous issues solved with this plugin?

From what I understand there shouldn't be an issue having these two plugins together? https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/

Thanks for the update.

I've tested the plugin "WPBakery Page Builder" ( version 6.2.0 ) on my website and the custom fields still showed.

The admin access details that you shared earlier, no longer work so can you please let me know exactly which version of the "WPBakery Page Builder" plugin do you have on the website?
( note: you should always be using the most recent version )

Also as requested in my previous reply, your website's clone/snapshot would help in the further investigation of this issue.

Also noticing that the drag/drop function of blocks is not appearing, so I can't drag a search dropdown field inside a grid. This is with WP Bakery deactivated.

Thank you for sharing the duplicator package.

Since I'm not able to reproduce both these issues with the same version of the "WPBakery" plugin on a test website, I'm going to perform some troubleshooting on your website's clone.

I'll update you as soon as this testing completes.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi. I've decided to redo my website in a different theme, using Elementor instead of WP Bakery. So you don't need to solve this issue anymore.
