Tell us what you are trying to do?

I'm trying to create an archive template using Toolset following https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-archive-page/ as a guide however I am unable to see the screens as described in documentation when I attempt to build out this archive myself hidden link following the documentation.

How can I build out an archive using blocks as described here https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-archive-page/ and why does my site not behave as intended when it comes to archive page creation?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-archive-page/

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hello,

You are using Divi page builder, please check these:
1) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings-> General:
in section "Editing experience", enable option: Show only the Blocks interface

2) Dashboard-> Divi-> Theme Options-> Builder-> Advanced
option "Enable Classic Editor": Disabled

Then follow the document you mentioned above to setup the WordPress Archive:
