I want to copy a custom field group from one custom post to another custom post actually, there are 7 custom posts that all have a majority of the custom fields in the field group so I want a simple way of copying the custom field group onto the other custom posts. I have been unable to find the answer in your help columns
Thanks
Les

Hi Les,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

There is no built-in feature to copy/duplicate the custom field groups or custom fields. However, you can assign a single custom field group, to multiple post types, through the 'Appears On' option at the top.

If you don't want the entire custom field group to appear on another post type, you can divide the existing custom field group into two custom field groups. The first one will have the common custom fields, which will be needed on multiple post types, and the other one will only have the fields, which are needed for a particular post type.

regards,
Waqar
