[Closed] Content Templates not working with WPBakery editor

This support ticket is created 2 years, 7 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: Edit content templates with WPBakery

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

The issue with the content template editing through the WPBakery builder is already reported.

You'll find a patch for the fix and the instructions on this errata page:

Additional note: Please make sure to update WordPress and all plugins (especially Toolset plugins) to the latest version, before applying the patch.

Where do I upload this file to? What is the directory path?

Your website has two Toolset plugins: Toolset Types, and Toolset Views.

You'll upload and replace the file from the patch, in these two folders:

1. /wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/toolset/toolset-common/user-editors/editor/screen/visual-composer/

2. /wp-content/plugins/wp-views/vendor/toolset/toolset-common/user-editors/editor/screen/visual-composer/

Hello, I am having the same issue again. I had replaced the files and it worked correctly but now the issue is back. I installed Toolset maps, would that have caused an issue. if so, how do I fix that? Thanks!

Also when I go into content templates, I'm not able to save any new templates.

The Toolset Maps plugin doesn't include the file that needs the new patch so it could be something different.

Can you please share temporary admin login details for the website where this issue can be seen?
(the access details from your earlier message, no longer seem to work)
