[Resolved] Content Template editor setting for Avada Builder (formerly Fusion Builder) does not persist in Toolset > Settings > General

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to use the Avada Builder (formerly the Fusion Builder) to edit Content Templates. When I select this option in Toolset > Settings > General tab - Editor to use for Content Templates, the setting is not saved correctly. When I reload the page, the previously selected option is still selected.

Solution: Our developers are aware of this problem and are working on a solution.

HI Christian

With the latest update, I am able to use the Fusion Builder again to update the Content Templates (awesome!), however:
a) under Toolset > Settings > Editor to use for Content Templates, the setting is still not being preserved when changing to Fusion Builder. When the page is refreshed it is still going back to Classic Editor.

Thank and regards
Simon

Okay thanks for the update on this. I am able to see the same problem when I select Fusion Builder in my local test environment. My second tier team pointed out this issue to our developers so they are aware of the problem. If you're able to work around this for now to edit templates in the Fusion Builder, I think we can close out for now and I'll update the ticket when our developers have a fix ready for this setting's persistence.

Hi Christian

Just for my understanding - is the setting being saved as Fusion builder but just been shown as Classic Editor? Or is actually reverting back to Classic Editor?

Kind regards
Simon

It's not being saved correctly at the moment, we'll need to update the software to save the correct setting ina future release.

Hi Christian

OK, that's fine for me, do I still get updated if this ticket is closed for me, or does it get set to Escalated to 2nd Tier?

Kind regards
Simon

You'll still get updates if you mark the ticket resolved. Since there is a workaround to edit with the Avada Builder successfully, I think it would be reasonable to resolve here instead of leaving the ticket marked as escalated. Our developers are aware of the issue and I'll keep you updated with feedback through the resolved ticket if there are any new developments in the process or when the issue is resolved in an upcoming release.

Hi Christian

That's awesome, I just wanted to be sure I didn't miss when it got fixed if I marked it as resolved.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
