I receive a "ERROR: Incorrect username or password"

The PHP error is due to mu-plugins/1and1-wordpress-assistant

This is a Must use Plugin that you installed, but it's not ours.

I will analyse the Layout issue as soon I have access, i believe it's a mistakenly assigned layout.

Uploading the patch is done by following the steps in the erratum If you already re-uploaded all plugins.
Each of our plugins needs the patch.

I will do that as soon I can log in to the site.

So as this is not your plug in I sent this information to the hosting company and they have asked me how i knew that? and to send them a screenshot of this error to see if they can help me fix it.

Could you please send it to me because they are saying that they don't see that their end. If not can you tell me how I can tell them how to find it. Cheers

1. The Error you shared with me here:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/confusion-between-views-a7-layouts/page/2/#post-618302

You stated this is your debug log; hence this is what you can tell to your Server Admin as well if that is where you found those errors.

2. The error is clearly in an MU PLugin, as the error log tells:

[20-Feb-2018 20:10:12 UTC] PHP Warning: file_put_contents(/homepages/32/d712893024/htdocs/app713576669/wp-content/mu-plugins/1and1-wordpress-assistant//log/cron-update-deactivated-plugins.log): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /homepages/32/d712893024/htdocs/app713576669/wp-content/mu-plugins/1and1-wordpress-assistant/inc/cron-update-deactivated-plugins.php on line 111

However, this is off-topic and not related to the issue we handle in this ticket:
- The CSS is not applied on the Beaver Builder constructs, and we have an errata for it.
- It seemed complex to upload that Erratum, but I know that this erratum works, as several users applied it without any issue.

I can help you exclusively to apply this erratum.

But before we do that, please update your system, and fix the errors that might impact on the site's accessibility if they affect Toolset.
The PHP errors you mentioned do not seem to affect Toolset, but you also mention that the errors only show with Layouts, so it seems to be connected.
But the failure's only trace is that MU Plugin so first we need to exclude that error too.

I see that you use outdated Beaver Builder Plugin (which we try to fix), outdated WooCommerce Plugin, WordFence and YOAST.

Furthermore is your Theme outdated as well.

Please fix this before trying to narrow down a BUG. We and others publish updated exactly due to reasons like BUGS.
For example, our Erratum may not work on outdated 3rd party Plugins.

Please backup your site before you do that, as usual.

After everything is updated, I will manually remove the Toolset Plugins, re-install them and apply the patch needed, if this still presents an issue to do by then.

As for the Layouts issue, I see that "Directory" has no Layout assigned and is designed with Beaver Builder. Hence Toolset Layouts can't interfere here.
Furthermore, if you use Beaver Builder, I do not suggest to use Layouts as well.
It's the same functionality, in another plugin.
Removing one of both would be the correct approach.

Things To Do page is the same, no Layouts is applied, but it's designed with Beaver Builder.

Hence, I do not see why you should keep Layotus active. I think you can remove it.

Please let me know once I can start applying the patch.

Thank you for the cooperation!
