Creating a new directory/event website using Toolset. In the past I've used Beaver Builder page builder when working with WordPress. For this project I've done some research and maybe Beaver Builder isn't the best builder to pair with Toolset. For that reason I've been looking at Spectra Pro or maybe Spectra One as an alternative. Are there any issues with using either of these with Toolset?

There's always Astra Pro, with seems to be one that you (highly) recommend to be used with Toolset.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

The Astra Pro is an add-on that extends the features included in the Astra theme, but it is not an independent page builder, like Beaver Builder, Elementor etc.

Spectra Pro ( hidden link ) is also not a page builder, on its own. It extends the features in the WordPress new block editor Gutenberg.
( Spectra Pro was formerly called 'Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg' )

The Spectra One is a theme that supports full-site editing features from WordPress. It aims to help in designing the header, footer, sidebar, and content sections of the website, as a whole.

All these above products are from the same company, so they should work well together.

As for choosing what works with the Toolset, it depends on which page builder you're comfortable with.

For someone who prefers Gutenberg editor, the Spectra Pro and Toolset can be used together and they offer good compatibility combination.

And for people who don't like working with the blocks-based environment of the Gutenberg editor, they can choose page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, WP Bakery etc and Toolset's classic editor for views, content template and archives works well with them.

I hope this overview will help in better planning your project and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

regards,
Waqar
