Can I create categories for my classifieds site

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I realized that with the help of your plugin I can create an ad site. But can I add categories and let people select those categories in the frontend?

Hello,

Yes, you can add more category terms, and your user will be able choose the new terms in frontend.

For example, below test site is using reference demo "Gyms and Trainers – Directory Site".
Login URL:

You can add more terms into taxonomy "Gym Type":

Create "Gym" posts, and assigned with those new terms.
In frontend, your user will be able to see the new terms in the search form:

Thanks for your reply. We just tried to make a bulletin board on our site using the WordPress Classifieds Plugin, but it turned out that this plugin did not support multilingualism at all. Here we have found an alternative, yours.
