I am using beaver builder to build a content template and when I select fields and views the Google Maps option is not appearing. I want to display a google map of an address. I can see Google Maps as an option in other places where you select 'field and views' but not in beaver builder.

Many thanks
Sophie

Dear Sophie,

I need your confirmation that we are talking about this problem:
1) Install Views + Toolset Maps + Beaver Builder
2) Create a content template, and design it with "Beaver Builder"
3) Add a "Text editor" module, and click button "Fields and Views", you expect to see the Google Maps buttons, for example:
Map
Marker
"Reload" button
...

If it is, it is not possible within current version of Toolset maps plugin, I need to put it into our to-do list as a feature request.

Hi Luo, yes this is correct. So basically if I'm using beaver builder for a content template and the text editor module then the 'google' maps option isn't available to me?

Thanks,
Sophie

Hi Sophie

This is Juan, leadt Toolset developer. Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, you are right. The Toolset Maps buttons are not added to the Fields and Views dialog when used inside a Beaver Builder frontend editor. We add those elements dynamically, and our code is only run when in the backend, hence it is skipped when dealing with the frontend editor.

I am adding ticket to our internal tracking system abotu this, and this should get corrected in the next version for Toolset Maps. In the meantime, once the development for this is completed and tsted, I will create an errata containing a patch so you can apply it. I am noting down this ticket too so I can ping you back here once we have that errata published.

Hope it helps.

Regards.
