Tell us what you are trying to do? I am trying to use wither the "AJAX refresh when clicking submit: or the
"AJAX refresh when changing any filter" with the custom search as well as the Clear all Filters and neither one works on the front end

Is there any documentation that you are following? I can't find any. I am new to Toolset. I added the Test jQuery Updates plugin thinking maybe scripts. I am running WordPress 5.5.1 on Enfold theme.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Hello,

The "AJAX refresh when clicking submit" requires the "Submit" button, search form is submitted after user click the "submit" button

the"AJAX refresh when changing any filter" option does not need "Submit" button, search form is submitted if user change any search form filter.

I followed the instructions and nothing happens when making a selection.

The Clear all Filters link does not do anything

The posts are not updates when making a selection.

Please try it here - hidden link
On this page I have a submit button so my client can see it works - the Clear all filters does not work.

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2020, deactivate all custom PHP/JS code snippets, and test again

3) Also check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

4) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

I switched to the 2020 theme and it worked. At this point perhaps I just switch themes to one of the themes that integrates better with Toolset. Thanks
