Hi there

Can you please give specific examples of the rewrite rules you are using, and clarify, by "child page" do you mean hierarchical WordPress pages, or something else (e.g. a post type which is the child part of a one-to-many Toolset relationship)?

Hi Nigel,

Essentially the custom post type 'people' has been set a rewrite rule in the options so that it is following this format: 'about-phf/people' (like the screenshot). I have then created a child page of 'people', but when publishing this page, it then directs me to a 404 page. So any page with the parent 'people' will have this issue. Please can you assist how to stop this happening?
Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for sharing these details.

I've performed some tests on my website with similar rewrite rule settings, but couldn't reproduce this behavior.

This suggests that something specific to your website is involved. Can you please share the temporary admin login details, along with the exact steps to see the 404 page?

Note: Your next reply will be private and making a complete backup copy is recommended before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar
