I have an embedded category filter with wpv-control-post-taxonomy
The category taxonomy has 1800 items.
The load of the popup takes about 5 secs.

How can I optimize the load time?
First off course without limiting the number of categories.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

To troubleshoot and share some recommendations, I'll need to see exactly how this taxonomy filter is set up.

Can you please share temporary admin login details, along with the link to the page with this filter?

Note: Your next reply will be private and it is recommended to make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Thank you for sharing the admin access.

In the view's "Custom Search Settings" you'll see the option "Show only available options for each input" selected.
( screenshot: hidden link )

This option makes the view's query complex and adds up to the loading time. You'll see a significant improvement if you'll change that setting to option "Always show all values for inputs"
