[Resolved] WPML with user fields

This support ticket is created 7 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello, I am using Wpml with Toolset for building a bilingual site, current process is creating custom user fields, I found that translation options at custom user field does not exist, but for post fields that has translation options. I am just afraid in case that user fields can not be translate, I need change my plan ahead. so just want a clearly answer about how to translate user fields of Toolset Type. Thank you so much!

I am not sure whether I should open the ticket in Toolset support, if a supporter of WPML team responded me, I will update my post as soon as possible.

You are right, there in't such a built-in feature, if you agree, we can take it as a feature request, our developers will evaluate it.
And I checked it in WPML forum, and you have already post it there:

Please try to follow Bruno's instruction to translate the custom user field.
