toolset extra characters.jpg

I have a custom WYSIWYG field where I store a series of shortcodes. Whenever I save the page extra characters are added. I have attached a screenshot.

Here is the code with the extra characters:
[wpv-conditional if="( wp_is_mobile() eq '1' )"][wpv-view name="country-main-top-girl-strip-mobile"]"][/wpv-conditional][wpv-conditional if="( wp_is_mobile() eq '0' )"][wpv-view name="country-main-top-girl-strip-desktop"]"][/wpv-conditional]

It appears this happens when the editor gets switched from text to visual. Is there any way to stop this behavior, like to lock that WYSIWYG field to display in "text" mode only?

Thanks

Hello,

I have tried the it in my localhost with a fresh wordpress installation + the latest version of Toolset plugins, remove those extra characters, and save the post, it works fine, see screenshot wys-field.JPG

So there might some other compatibility, I suggest you try these:
1) please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2019, and test again
2) If the problem is fixed, then activate other plugins/theme one by one, try to locate the problem plugin
