Tell us what you are trying to do?
The subject says it all.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
no documentation tells me how to relate the user to a custom post type and that makes zero sense. Am I missing something in a big way?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

In Toolset, the relationships feature can be used to join two post types, but not the users and the post types. This is why you'll need a post type like "Contractors" or "User Profiles" etc, as explained in this guide:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/how-to-create-custom-searches-and-relationships-for-users/

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar
