[Resolved] What capabilities need for edit user profile

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
What is the meaning of "Role of the user to create/edit" and the respective Toolset Access settings in Toolset > Access Control for Forms?

Solution:
1. Role of the user to create/edit
Defines what is edited or may be edited by this form
2. Access Settings define who can do #1 above. Hence, who can use the form?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have two custom roles "Member" and "Dealer", I have a User Form for a user to update his personal data, if user is at member role, he can edit his user profile, when I switch him as dealer role, the user form cannot be viewed. Is it related to the capabilities setting, what capabilities need for the dealer to edit his user profile?

Best regards,

Kelvin.

Toolset user Forms will allow you usually to edit your own profile, not others.
However, further settings about Forms that edit users can be set in Toolset > Access Control > Toolset Forms
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/access-control-for-cred-forms/

I hope this helps!

Dear Beda,

I solved the issue. I have to configure the "Toolset User Forms Frontend Access" and enable which role can edit own user with the form.

What is difference compare with the setting of Role of the user to create/edit from the Edit User Form (see screenshot)?

Best regards,

Kelvin.
