mostly done again but can get the following to work
i cannot get the dog the handler is related to in the event:
Handler at: MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB with the dog ?????
Owner at: MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB with the dog ?????
Handler at: UTILITY GUNDOG SOCIETY with the dog ???????

this is not displaying the dogs postion for the owners t this event.
[types field='dog-appearance-position' ][/types] i can not get this to show the position of the dog handled
please note waqas i do not need any written explanations as i feel you have covered that in previous , with these 3 done i feel i have enough to self teach myself for the rest of the sites views..

In your website's single person template "Template for Persons", you already have a view "View to show Person Appearances in events single person page". But that is set to show two post types "Person Appearances" & "Dog Appearances" posts. You don't need "Dog Appearances" posts from this view, so please uncheck its option in the "Content Selection".
The rest is pretty much the same, the query filter needed to be adjusted so that it only shows those posts which are related to the person whose ID is passed through shortcode attribute "wpvrelatedto". Then the same shortcode attribute was also added to the view's shortcode at "Template for Persons".
To get the related dog's title and ID, you can use the field shortcode similar to how you're getting the role.
