This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The issue here is that the user's view isn't showing on their page.
Solution:
In this user's case it was that his page was not showing any information at all even with views disabled. What I would recommend doing is to check if your page is displaying the default content then add your view to it.
This support ticket is created 5 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.
