Using Toolset fields in Elementor Slider widget

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to use Toolset fields to specify the content of an Elementor Slider widget.

Solution: This integration is not currently available, but you can use Views to create a Slider and insert it in an Elementor template or module.

When creating Elementor templates, can an Elementor slider widget be populated with image fields created using Toolset? In my use case I've created a post type that displays vehicles. One of the custom fields is a repeating image field where several images of the car can be entered. I would like to display these images in a slideshow. I'm more familiar with Drupal and hoped I could achieve something similar in WordPress by using Toolset but I haven't yet figured it out.

Hi, you can create a Slider-style View and insert that View in an Elementor template using standard Views shortcodes, but Types custom fields are not currently integrated with the Elementor slider widget. We're working with the Elementor team to add new integration features, so if you'd like to see this one included I recommend creating a new ticket in the forum using the "suggest an improvement" option.
