unable to add fields to template using Beaverbuilder

I am trying to create a template using Beaver Builder like this, but single:

I expected to see fields to choose from.

Instead, I got blacked out selections.

I was able to create a template using Beaver Themer. Is that an acceptable/compatible way to create a single template for Toolset? Some of the fields (photo fields in particular) were displaying linked alt text next to the image. I was able to use the post image connections within Beaverbuilder. The only item i was not able to get working was the "edit post" form link. Do you have any suggestions of what I may use. Here is what I get when trying to insert the shortcode. hidden link

The shortcode started working. It may have been a cache issue.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
