Types has a conflict with WC Marketplace plugin. I wrote them. They try to fix it. They send me this msg
'Ero, we also need small help from Toolset authors, as you can see here : https://toolset.com/home/types-manage-post-types-taxonomy-and-custom-fields/ their current version is 2.3.2
So, can you please ask them what is the difference between this and the plugin you have shared.'
Could you explain.
Best,
Ero
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Well - The main difference between Types 3.X.X and Types 2.3.2 is we made Types version 3.x.x as paid version.
All Types version < 3.X.X will be available public use on WordPress and you can download it for free but with Types 3.x.x we implemented and added lot of new features that is why Types version 3.0 is now paid version.

Dear Minesh,
I am not asking difference of the purchase. I have already bought 3.XX version. WC Marketplace Authors told me they don't have any conflict with free version of types but with 3.XX version.
My question is why do I have a conflict with version of 3.XXX. What is the back difference as a coding? Why am I getting conflict with 3.XX version since I don't have the conflict with free version. Where I have to look to solve the problem. Please be advised.
Best Regards
Ero
WC Marketplace Authors told me they don't have any conflict with free version of types but with 3.XX version.
==> Ok - could you please tell me exactly when you say "conflict" - what issue you are facing and exactly at what page/post?
My question is why do I have a conflict with version of 3.XXX. What is the back difference as a coding
==> With Types 3.X.X - we implemented and added lots of new features, mainly new Many-to-Many relationship feature as well as changes in GUI of custom fields etc..etc..
Why am I getting conflict with 3.XX version since I don't have the conflict with free version. Where I have to look to solve the problem.
==> Well - could you please tell me exact steps to reproduce the issue so I can check and if confirm I will report the conflict you said to our Devs so our Devs will start to work on resolution as soon as the issue is confirmed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it as if you may would like to share problem URL and few screenshots that will help me to understand the conflict.
Ok - I try to reproduce this issue with minimum setup on with my test site where only Toolset plugins installed and default theme.
Later - I installed the plugin WC Marketplace and configure it and added new user with vendor role and then I loggedin as a vendor user and I can see the "Draft" and "Submit" button available when I try to added the product. Please check following screenshot:
=> hidden link
It looks like there are more plugins involved in this cause thats causing the conflict.
In order to minimize the cause of the issue:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating ALL third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
Please check with only WooCommrce and Toolset plugins active and then check by activating other third party plugin one by one to find the culprit plugin or theme.
Sir,
You are not helping... I don't care about your test site. In my site have a conflict and it made by toolset plugin. I ask you how can solve it but you offer me to deactivate the other plugins. I did but again its not working. plus i need the other plugins ( more than toolset) if you don't help me to solve the problem in my site than I don't need your plugin and I want my money back.
I explain the problem to you 2 times. I sent site credentials. You have to test on my site not in your test site. I'll get tired of this.
I send your msg to WC marketplace authors and they send me this msg back " it seems like they have not installed the WC Marketplace properly. You can share them your site just keeping WC Marketplace, WooCommerce, WCMp Advanced Frontend Manager and Toolset plugin." and I share all this with you.
last time I explain
you have to tell me which plugin cause this problem, how can I solve it without deactivate or delete my other plugins.
I test it in my site. When Toolset Types 3XX activated this problem coming out. Do you have any solution.
Please be advised,
Best,
Ero
Ahh - well, I'm just following the standard support procedure, We are obviously like to help you and happy to help you further. Sorry if you feel so but we are always glad to help.
Is that possible for you to send me copy of your site using duplicator plugin - that will help me to debug this issue deeply:
=> https://toolset.com/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/
Please send me duplicator package of your site and I'm happy to debug this issue and will update you accordingly.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Any news?
Yes - i'm on it and I'm just setting up your site and will be back to you soon with my findings.
Yes - I see that it works with Types 2.32 as you said before and not with Types 3.0.1 and strange thing is that it works with minimum setup (only Toolset plugins + default theme ) active with Types 3.0.1.
There is conflict somewhere but I do not able to pinpoint where exactly the conflict happens so I've escalated this issue for further debug to our next level support.
Please hold on for further updates, I will get in touch with you as soon as I know more.
I've update for you that we have contacted the WC Marketplace plugin author initiated the talks. I will update you as soon as I know more.
our team has contacted the authors of this plugin and informed them they need to make some changes to the WC Marketplace plugin to make it compatible with Types 3.X.X. We are working with their team now and in touch to come to a collaborative solution so you can use our plugins together successfully.
I will update you as soon as I know more.
Here is the update from our 2nd tier supporters:
The WC Marketplace has acknowledged the issue and told us they will look into it. Since the fix must happen in their software, there's not much more we can do on the Toolset side.
Can you please confirm that the issue is fixed now with latest Toolset Types plugin.
