[Resolved] Translatable Taxonomy on Non-Transltable Custom Post Type

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to know if its possible to use a translated taxonomy on a non-translatable CPT.

Solution:

Unfortunately our toolset forum would not be the best place to get advise on this.

I would recommend contacting our WPML support forum for more information on this.

I am trying to:
Create a translatable Taxonomy, for a non translatable custom post type.
I have a custom post type built with WP-Types, and his name is "Video", it contains links to YouTube videos.
This custom post type is not translatable, because there is no need to "translate" a video.
Each "Video", has a "Video Category" taxonomy.
I enabled the Translatable Taxonomy via "WPML", and translated the taxonomies.
But when I'm browsing the translated version of the website, the Videos are not shown ("No items Found"),
and in the English (Original Language) it's shown correctly.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link - For the Hebrew version (Translated Version) - videos are missing)

hidden link - For the English Version (Original Version)

What am I doing wrong here?
Is it a bug?

This is an issue that you should direct to the WPML forum.

They will be able to help you properly with this issue.

From what I see, it's because you would need to duplicate your posts if you do not translate them.

But this is entirely related to WPML usage, please refer to the Support Forums there, to get the best quality support with this.

Hi Hila,

As Beda mentioned this would fall under WPML and they will be the best team to assist with this one.

Thanks,
Shane
