I dont really have a site that I can demonstrate this with, but this is what is happening:

Using Astra Theme, Elementor Pro and Toolset Types:

When a Toolset Post Field of the field type of WYSIWYG is used in an Elementor custom post template (via a dynamic widget such as an Elementor Text Widget), rather than rendering the content of the Toolset field only, the entire page: header, title, featured image, body, etc, gets rendered in its place.

I confirmed this by re-creating the same field in the same template using an ACF WYSIWYG field and it works perfectly. Its a conflict specific to Toolset, and more specifically Toolset's WYSIWYG field. Other Toolset field types work as expected.

I was not able to try this using a different theme since the site I am working on is live.

I think you can recreate this assuming you have the same environment by simply using a Toolset wysiwyg field in an elementor template.

Hi Joe,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I performed several tests with Toolset, Astra theme and Elementor Pro template on my test website, but couldn't reproduce this issue on my test website.

To troubleshoot this, I'll suggest the following steps:

1. Please make sure that WordPress, active theme and plugins are all updated to the latest versions.

2. It would be interesting to test this with all non-Toolset plugins disabled and a default theme like Twenty Twenty.
( you can first make a backup copy of this live website first )

If it's fixed, you can start adding the disabled items, one-by-one, to narrow down to a possible conflicting one.

3. In case the issue still persists, you're welcome to share temporary admin login details. This way I'll be able to see how this template is set up and reproduce and investigate this on a test website.

Note: Your next reply will be private and though no changes will be made on your website, please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Waqar and Joe -- I am having the exact same issue. I have a Toolset WYSIWYG field that is merged into a Text Editor widget as part of a saved section template. When viewed live, the merged WYSIWYG field drops in the entire content of the page. The rest of the items work correctly. Happy to share user/pwd to confirm.
