I have a similar question before, and had got a solution already.
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cred-front-end-submission-form-of-multilingual-sites-with-wpml/#post-592405
I want to let users submit the forms in front-end, and automatically generate multilingual content for a listing site. your amazing support team has helped me achieve it. you can check the link above.
but this method seems if the post was revised or changed something, those content will not be automatically changed. now WPML 3.9 has been released, it should resolve this kind of requirements.
https://wpml.org/2018/01/wpml-3-9-released/#comment-1707148 You can see the link, I have commented this article, and got a reply from Amir.
Yes, we noticed this on one of our reference sites too. We’re adding shortcodes to Toolset, that would allow you to check the language. Our idea is to make it easy to limit the new-content forms to the site’s default language and redirect to that language if you’re currently on a different language.
This way, forms will always submit content in the default language and the new translation mode will allow to display this new content on all the site’s languages.
his mean is that the feature is only offered to the default language, but it should work with other languages, just redirect that language site to default language submission form.
my question is
1. using WPML 3.9, “Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to original language” , if create a post by default language, it can automatically display in other languages page, but where I can translate the the options of select or checkbox? because I have translated every field and checkbox and select options but only the labels were shown. I can not see a domain including these fields on String Translation. where to do?
2.do you have a solution for automatically translate posts without duplicate posts, and allow users submitting forms in front end whichever user's language?
Thank you so much!

The values for select field options can be translated in String Translation under the domain "plugin Types". Checkbox option values can be translated in the Translation Editor screen if you have chosen to translate the checkboxes custom field.
2.do you have a solution for automatically translate posts without duplicate posts, and allow users submitting forms in front end whichever user's language?
As Amir mentioned we plan to redirect Users to the default language to submit posts, then translate from the default language as needed. At this time, I don't have another solution that will handle submissions in secondary languages.
Hi Christian, Thank you so much for the reply, but the "plugin Types" is used to translate the duplicated content, but using WPML new version 3.9 is not needed to duplicate the content, I have got a reply from WPML team, your colleague told me just using the wrapper of [wpml-string][/wpml-string] to translate the content. Ok, I will try it later.
the second question about whichever users' language is, the system will automatically redirect the multilingual cred submission form to the default language. so that, even users submit a form using second or third language, the system will automatically generate multilingual content using WPML 3.9.
the WPML supporter said I may need to refer him to this thread. please see this link https://wpml.org/forums/topic/toolset-wpml-makes-listing-site-translatable-automatically-without-duplication/#post-1554377 I really love this feature, it will save a lot of works in case that users change something after submitted, and then the editor has to revise something therewith.
even users submit a form using second or third language, the system will automatically generate multilingual content using WPML 3.9.
Amir's comment says that we will always redirect all Users to the default language form. Users will never submit a form in a second or third language. All submissions must be in the default language in order for the translation fallback option to be effective. The fallback cannot be a second or third language.
Can you restate your question? I'm having trouble understanding your request.
I think I know what you mean, Thank you so much for the help!
