Hi im following through your tutorial on toolset > course

on 6:12 of the tutorial is pulling out the view widget im following through on creating a view, but its not the same as what's showing on my end.
I cant create a view, instead it just pulls up the view i already created
on the tutorial it has the "Create a new view"

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.
There are two ways to create views when using Toolset.
1. Classic/legacy views, which can be created from WP Admin -> Toolset -> Views.
( as being discussed in the other ticket: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/i-want-to-know-how-to-create-a-search-box/ )
2. The blocks-based views that can be created within the blocks/Gutenberg editor, as explained in our documentation guides.
If you'd like to create blocks-based views too, please go to WP Admin -> Toolset -> Settings -> General, and for the setting "Editing experience", select the option "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build".
After this change, when you'll insert the "View" block, you'll see the option to create a new view as well as insert the existing one.

The page that you're referring to is set to be edited using the Divi builder and Toolset's View block is designed to work in the default Gutenberg editor.

I've created a test page "Test page with the default editor" that includes the "View" block with the option to either create a new one or use an existing one, just as in the tutorial that you referred to.

Now what if i want my search bar on the 2nd column?
I want my page to have 2 columns, i cant see to see an option to just put the search bar on the 2nd column
Im trying to recreate this page using your plugin, i want the search bar to be on the upper right

The normal structure of the View block consists of two main nested blocks:
- View Search
- View Output

To show the search form and the results in separate columns, you'll place a "Grid" block, between these two nested blocks.

Select the grid column layout and then move the grid block above one level, so that it is above the "View Search" block.

The last step would be to use the "Drag" control to move the "View Search" and "View Output" blocks, into their respective "Grid Cell" blocks, so that they show in the different columns of the grid.

As suggested in the last message, I included a grid block between the "View Search" and "View Output" blocks.

Next, I moved it up one level, so that this new grid block is above but at the same hierarchal level of the "View Search" and "View Output" blocks.

Lastly, I dragged the "View Output" block into this grid's left cell and the "View Search" block into the right cell.
