Toolset and WPDM no longer working as per your support doc

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,

The support document you have at https://toolset.com/learn/create-membership-site-wordpress-using-toolset-plugins/restricting-access-downloadable-files/ no longer seems to work. I am unable to restrict access to downloads using categories as described in that article.

I have tested this with a clean install with only the 2 plugins installed and still does not work. I will also contact the makers of that plugin....

Toolset boasts being able to build complex membership sites yet it is not able to restrict access to downloads (afaik)

In the meantime do you have any suggestions as to how I can restrict access to file downloads?
