I am trying to:

Allow users to use additional toolset forms. However, there are two issues:

1. When duplicating a role, the permissions from the previous role are not saved.

2. When trying to adding new permissions to that role, specifically checking off new forms for that user to use in Post Forms Frontend Access, the new permissions do not save.

This also happens on the dev site, which has the newest versions of toolset, but on the dev site, check boxes cannot even be selected in Post Forms Frontend Access.

I have included a duplicator package and credentials for the dev site. I will also include a duplicator package for the live site shortly.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

1. When duplicating a role, the permissions from the previous role are not saved.

- I performed some tests on my website, with the latest WordPress, Toolset plugins, and the Twenty Twenty-One theme, but couldn't reproduce this.

I added a custom role and made some changes to its permissions. After I added another custom role that copied privileges from the first custom role, the changed permissions were carried over to the new role.

I'll recommend updating WordPress, active theme, and plugins and then test this again. If the issue still persists, please share the exact steps that you used for the testing.

2. When trying to adding new permissions to that role, specifically checking off new forms for that user to use in Post Forms Frontend Access, the new permissions do not save.

- Again, I couldn't reproduce this one either. If you're able to reproduce this even after updating everything, please share the exact steps and I'll test accordingly.

regards,
Waqar
