Hi Waqar,

Thanks. There seems to be an issue with this new version where "Show only filter options that would produce results" is not working.

I have two search fields "City" and "Area", I would expect drop down options in "Area" search field to be shown based on the selection of the city. But the result is not as expecting.

Please visit my page "hidden link;. "City" and "Area" are the taxonomies.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for waiting, while I performed some tests.

I was able to reproduce this behavior on my test website too and the option "Show only filter options that would produce results" has no effect in Blocks 1.4.

We appreciate you brought this forward and I've shared this with the concerned team and will keep you updated through this ticket.

For now, a workaround would be to downgrade Blocks to the previous (1.3.5) version, in which that option works.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Waqar,

Please let me know how to downgrade to older version.

Steps to downgrade to older version.

Thanks.

You can follow these steps:

1. As a precaution, make a full backup copy of the website.

2. Download Blocks 1.3.5 from the Blocks plugin's download page:
https://toolset.com/download/toolset-blocks/#changelog

3. From WP Admin -> Plugins use the "Add New" button at the top to upload this old version of the plugin.

4. You'll see a confirmation message for which you can select the "Replace current with uploaded" button and you'll be all set.

Hi,

I'd like to update you that a fix for this has been covered in the latest release of Blocks 1.4.1.

Please feel free to update and let us know in case the issue still persists.
