I'm using the Newspaper theme. When I debugged and added the codes to the Theme support section (td_module_single_base::get_content) - it nuked the content on several post templates. Unsure of why

Other Users have had some limited success using the function you described. When issues arose, we tried to collaborate with the theme's authors and didn't get much cooperation:

If you'd like to be able to fully integrate this theme with Toolset, I recommend reaching out to the theme's authors and let them know we're trying to work on a solution that will allow better use of our systems together. I guess I'll try to figure out which software package I dislike more and which one will be less difficult to replace.
Okay understood, sorry we haven't been able to work this out with their developers.
