The issue is not resolved after a full site update/theme switch/disabling all plugins.
Please advise

Hi,

Thank you for waiting.

I've performed several tests with a similar view and search filters on my test website, but couldn't reproduce this issue. This suggests that there is something specific to your website involved.

I see that the duplicator plugin is already installed on your website. Do I have your permission to download a clone and troubleshoot on my own server?

regards,
Waqar

Hi,

Looks like we both wrote at the same time.

Can you please refer to my request in the last reply?

Yes, you can download a clone test it on your server or on mine development area hidden link but not on live site, please
The login details to the development area are the same.
Thanks

So, do you have an answer?

Hi,

Thank you for waiting.

I'd like to update that I managed to successfully deploy your website's clone on my server.

Currently, I'm running some tests on it and will update you with my findings, within next couple of hours.

Thank you for your patience.

regards,
Waqar

Hi,

During testing, I was able to fix the taxonomy filters using the following steps:

1. First I updated the Toolset Types and Views to the latest versions.

(Note: you'll not see the automatic update of the Views plugin in the admin area, so you'll need to download it manually from the legacy downloads page: https://toolset.com/account/downloads/#legacy-plugins

Alternatively, you can also deactivate the Views plugin and instead activate the Blocks plugin which can be updated from the admin area. It offers all the feature included in the Views plugin. After activating the Blocks plugin, please go to WP Admin -> Toolset -> Settings -> General and select the "Show only the legacy interface for designing with shortcodes" option for the editing experience.)

2. After that I updated all WPML plugins. I also removed the 3 "wpml-string" shortcodes around the text in the "Search and Pagination" section of the archive view, as we've recently reported an issue that this shortcode as placeholder breaks text search filter since Views version 3.3.

I'm afraid, I don't have a time estimate to share at the moment, but I'll keep you updated on this issue, through this ticket.

After making the above changes, the taxonomy search filters will work, as expected.

regards,
Waqar

Hi,

I'd like to update you that the issue involving "wpml-string" shortcode as a placeholder and search filters has been fixed in the Toolset Blocks 1.3.3 / Views 3.3.3.
