When creating objects CPT on a real estate site, and we need to add amenities (like Air Condition, Heating, Parking...) through checkboxes, the form gets really long and ugly. hidden link
Would it be possible to create a field "tags-like", to get all these values in a small place? hidden link
Also the Image Gallery fields list all uploaded images in a single column, eating a lot of vertical space.
Is it possible to have them neat aligned in 3 or 4 columns, like in WordPress?
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
If you do not want to have checkboxes field, then the another option is to add a taxonomy (flat taxonomy) from:
=> Toolset => Taxonomies => Add New => Taxonomy type section select Flat
Yes, but this would allow entering "any" amenities.
We need to "force" choosing the amenities between a preset list, shown through a dropdown or popup.
You have two options either setup the checkboxes as you already have or go for the flat taxonomy.
Toolset offers select dropdown field type but it will only allow you to select only one option. If you want multiple predefined options you have to go with either checkboxes field or taxonomy that are the only options.
That would be a great addition to Toolset.
I have seen this feature in other application and it's really useful.
It's a flat-taxonomy-like field, but the available options are pre-programmed.
