Hello,
after plugin update, trying to add images from media fields on users form doesn't work.
If I push on to the upload image a blue box prevents me from changing any other fields and everything remains blocked until I refresh the page, anyway upload image field doesn't work.
Could you help me please.

Anna

Hi Anna,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Do you see any error or warning on the screen, in the browser's console, or in the server's error log?

To troubleshoot this, I'll need to see how this user form is set up in the admin area. Can you please share temporary admin login details, along with the link to this form page?

Note: Your next reply will be private and it is recommended to make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Thank you for sharing these details.

While I can see the issue with the image/file upload field on your website, I couldn't reproduce this on my test website.

This suggests that something specific to your website is involved. To troubleshoot this, I'll suggest the following steps:

1. Please make sure that WordPress, active theme, and plugins are all updated to the latest versions.

2. It would be interesting to test this with all non-Toolset plugins disabled and a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One.

If it's fixed, you can start adding the disabled items, one by one, to narrow down to a possible conflicting one.

3. In case the issue still persists, I'll need your permission to download a clone/snapshot of the website, to investigate this on a different server.

I hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

Hi Waqar,
in the official site/server if we disable a plugin called "Cookie and Consent Solution for the GDPR & ePrivacy" (that helping us to blocking cookie and that we cannot disable) the media uploader works.
At the same time we have make a site copy in another server (in a subfolder) and and it works without disable any plugin.
So we think it could be a server problem. Instead of clonig site to your server could you suggest some values or other setting on the server to fix the problem? Thank you very much.
Best.

Thanks for the update.

I've performed some tests on my website with the 'iubenda – Cookie and Consent Solution for the GDPR & ePrivacy' plugin, but couldn't reproduce this issue.

I'm afraid, it would be very difficult for us to investigate this without a copy of the affected website. I'll recommend thoroughly checking that the settings and code used on the production website and its copy in the subfolder are exactly the same.

It would also be a good idea to get in touch with that Cookie and Consent plugin's support team, to see if they can share some insights, on how the plugin interacts with the file upload fields and the WordPress media uploader.

Yes, you can share the admin and FTP access for a cloned website, as long as the issue is reproducible on it.

And rest assured, your website's data won't be used for any other purpose.

I'm setting your next reply as private.

Hi Waqar,
first thanks for your availability and support rapidity.
However I've fix the problem deactivating the Iubenda Cookie Banner plugin, adding in all header pages their code excluding it to the problem pages. So now everything is working.
Thanks a lot. All the best.
