I am trying to use an image box with a CPT according to this documentation: hidden link

It is not posible to choose the CPT as the dynamic source in the view. I know: i'm using V3 stackable. But still.. it would be great when it was posible.

Hello,

Since it is a compatibility issue with other plugins(Stackable), but I don't have a copy of it in my localhost.

Please try to reproduce the same problem in below test site:
hidden link

I need to test and debug it in a live website, thanks

Hi Luo Yang, thanks for your answer. I have created the issue in the test website. You can see that with the image-box from stackable it is not posible to choose the featured image from a CPT.

I already reported this at stackable, and they told me that their V2-blocks where compatible with toolset, but V3-blocks not anymore. And (quote) "We've communicated this with the Toolset team already and they will be working on compatibility for V3 blocks. :)".

So I hope the issue will be solved, because its a good combination toolset + stackable.

Thanks, Corine

Thanks for the details, I assume we are talking about the problem page:
hidden link
the image block within Stackable image box block.

It is an issue of Stackable plugin, their "Dynamic Source" can not be used in WordPress loop. For example, I have tried these:
1) Edit above page, and set a featured image
2) Test it in frontend:
hidden link
All Stackable image box block display the current page's featured image.

Since it is a feature of Stackable plugin, we can not fix their issue, it is out the range of Toolset support, you need to check with their support for it.

I agree with you. At stackable they told you to work on it, which seemed strange to me. I will forward this answer to stackable. And maybe your development departments can coordinate as well. Thanks for your help.
