[Resolved] Split: Pages for logged-in users showing in the search results

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Some pages that only show for logged in users, do appear in search results FOR NON LOGGED IN USERS. they are: post artwork and edit artwork USE THE SEARCH ENGINE AN THE 404 PAGE: hidden link LOOKUP THE WORD KUNST (ART IN DUTCH) YOU'LL SEE THE PAGES KUNSTWERK TOEVOEGEN (ADD ART) AND MIJN KUNSTENAARSACCOUNT (MY ACCOUNT) AND KUNSTWERK AANPASSEN (EDIT ART)

Hi Peter,

I've tested and even though those protected pages do show up for non-logged-in guests, the search results, when opened, they do not show the content but ask to log in with the login form.

This is the expected behavior because the access control limits the content when the individual page/post is visited. It doesn't exclude them from the search results.
