Hi,

I've read your previous ticket with Minesh on this topic and most of the good practices to limit the excessive usage of the Google Maps API key have been discussed.

As an extra precaution, you can delete the existing API key and generate a new one, so that in case it has been leaked or is being misused elsewhere, that usage can be avoided.

It would also be a good idea to use two keys; one for the client-side and the other for the server-side requests, as explained in this forum reply:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/split-using-domain-restricted-google-maps-api-key/#post-1835309

I did some research online and couldn't find any way to track the exact URL/endpoint from where the high Google Maps API usage can be traced. But, in general, you can monitor your website's traffic/page visits and the spike in the Google Maps API requests, to draw a correlation pattern and narrow down the origin.

I hope these suggestions will help.

regards,
Waqar

Thanks Waqar.

I'll do as you recommend for the keys and will be in touch again shortly.
