When I try to

Create or edit a post type
Create or edit taxonomies
Create or edit custom field groups
Create or edit views
Create or edit content templates
Create or edit relationship forms

I get the message: Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page

But *am* still able to

Create and edit custom posts
Create and edit relationships
Create and edit post forms
Create and edit user forms

I searched and found this:

https://toolset.com/forums/topic/trying-to-use-the-views-plugin-sorry-you-are-not-allowed-to-access-this-page/

and I followed the instructions, but mine is already set that way.

I also found this:

https://toolset.com/forums/topic/editing-custom-fields-not-accessible/page/2/#post-1238225

and I followed the instructions, but I already had all the views and types permissions checked/enabled.

Do you have any other ideas/things I can try?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hello,

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2020, deactivate all custom PHP/JS code snippets, and test again

3) Also check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

4) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page URLs and username, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

Thank you, Luo

It is 2) a conflict with another plugin. For now, I have contacted the maker of the plugin to see if they have any advice (I assume the problem is likely on their end). I will let you know what I find out, and if I need your help because they cannot help me.

I'll get back in touch as soon as they reply to me.
