Some of the settings.png

Hi,
I created a post type, custom fields and a custom templates to publish news.

I have this error:

Some of your settings for this page have changed, because they got copied from the Modèle de contenu pour une nouvelle template. To change these settings you should edit Modèle de contenu pour une nouvelle.

Modified settings: Content Title.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

I try to publish a news

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Yes, I read the documentation about templates

Is there a similar example that we can see?

It happens only with this post type.
I don't understand why.

What is the link to your site?
It's not published.
I develop it.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

That is not a error but a notice but I'm not sure why its displaying the notice.

Can you please share admin access details so I can review whats causing that notice to appear.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Sorry but I will not give you (or anyone else, it's not about you) admin access.
The developer who has coded this notice could probably explain when it appears and why.

Here is the related ticket and the solution explained by Waqar:

Can you please follow above link and check if that help you to resolve your issue.

Hi Minesh,
It's an explanation but it does not solve the issue.
It's true I disabled the content title since I display it inside a card.
It's a choice : I don't want to use the theme settings here.
But I also don't want my users to be annoyed by this notice each time they create an instance of a custom post type.
It would be great to be able to disable these useless (for me) notices.

I got the news that the notice with message will be shown only once, when relevant, and then if you edit the post again the message is no longer there. (try to reload the page).

Does that works?

#2013715

No, it doesn't seem to work.
Each time I change something and save the post, the notice appears again...
When I reload the page without chnging anything, it does not appear any more.

When I log in with an user account, I can modify the post and the notice seems never to appear.
Strange...

Does the notice not disappear if you reloads the page after saving changes?

Unless every time you reloads the page do you try to change the theme settings again, which you can't because they are set in the template, which is what the message is about.

Thanks Minesh for your help. 🙂
I still don't understand what is the use case of this useless notice.
But as long as my users don't seem to see it, I can live with it.
