Dear Toolset team,

We experience a slow back end on our website.

We use the lastest version of WordPress, Divi and WP Rocket.
MySQL-database is MaraiDB 10.5.23/InnoDB type/ utf8mb4 collation
We added index WP MySql for speed

Yet, only the backend is very slow.
Frontend is okay.

What do you advice what we can do?
(If you want to take a look, we have an admin access
for you)

We can see, with the help of Query Monitor some obsolete PHP within Toolset. Don't know if this influences the 'backend speed'", but maybe it helps you in some way:

Verouderd Return type of OTGS\Toolset\Common\Utils\RecursiveDotFilterIterator::accept() should either be compatible with FilterIterator::accept(): bool, or the #[\ReturnTypeWillChange] attribute should be used to temporarily suppress the notice
wp-content/plugins/toolset-blocks/vendor/toolset/toolset-common/inc/autoloaded/utils/PhpIteratorFactory.php:45

1 Plugin: toolset-blocks
Verouderd Return type of Toolset_Theme_Integration_Settings_Model_Collection::getIterator() should either be compatible with IteratorAggregate::getIterator(): Traversable, or the #[\ReturnTypeWillChange] attribute should be used to temporarily suppress the notice
wp-content/plugins/toolset-blocks/vendor/toolset/toolset-theme-settings/compatibility-modules/models/toolset-theme-integration-settings-model-collection.php:14

1 Plugin: toolset-blocks
Verouderd Return type of Toolset_Theme_Integration_Settings_Model_Abstract::getIterator() should either be compatible with IteratorAggregate::getIterator(): Traversable, or the #[\ReturnTypeWillChange] attribute should be used to temporarily suppress the notice
wp-content/plugins/toolset-blocks/vendor/toolset/toolset-theme-settings/compatibility-modules/models/toolset-theme-integration-settings-model-abstract.php:95

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

We haven't received any other reports about slow performance in the admin area. Can you please make sure that WordPress, theme and all plugins are updated to the latest versions?

I'll also recommend temporarily enable WordPress debugging and share any Toolset related errors/warnings from the server's log.
( ref: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ )

In case, there are no errors/warnings, you're welcome to share temporary admin login details, along with list of some admin area pages/sections which are especially slow.

Note: Your next reply will be private and making a complete backup copy is recommended before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar
