I didn't follow the Dashboard order when creating the content template and archive by mistake and I'm trying to correct a display issue that has resulted.

I removed the content that we added to the template and attempted to start over as you can see in the screenshot, but the image file isn't linking.

The content template that I just created is not dynamically linking to the post type content and I can not determine why.

When we started, we created the post type Artwork and added several custom fields. Next, we added about 12 Artwork items with image, etc.

I thought I found a resolution for this issue but it didn't work.

From the attached screenshot you can see that the content template is populated in the backend view, but it is showing as "This page doesn't seem to exist" on the front.

I deleted the first content template and created a new one but still no success.

Can you please help identify what I am doing wrong?

Hello,

The 404 error means WP can not find any post in that URL, I suggest you check these:
1) Dashborad-> Settings-> Permalinks, click "Save Changes" button, and test again
2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to WordPress default theme 2021, and test again
