Hi
I build a search form in the site:
hidden link

I have some questions:

1. the first drop-down is for the site articles authors. this site has 2 languages: Hebrew and English. Why do I see the English names of my Authors first and then the Hebrew ones, while I need to see only the Hebrew ones if I am in the Hebrew site and only the English one if I am in the English site?

2. I purchased "SearchWP" plugin since I like the search results look into the PDFs each article have. does the free search field that I made here is using the searchwp index? or do I need to do something else?

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting us and I'll be happy to assist.

1. the first drop-down is for the site articles authors. this site has 2 languages: Hebrew and English. Why do I see the English names of my Authors first and then the Hebrew ones, while I need to see only the Hebrew ones if I am in the Hebrew site and only the English one if I am in the English site?

- From the code of the author filter field in the search form, it seems that the author names have been added as custom field values with your content.

To make sure that these custom field values are properly translated, please follow this guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/

Note: For most efficient support around WPML and translation-related questions, please use WPML support forum:
https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/

2. I purchased "SearchWP" plugin since I like the search results look into the PDFs each article have. does the free search field that I made here is using the searchwp index? or do I need to do something else?

- I'm afraid, currently "SearchWP" integration with Toolset is not officially supported, but you can submit this as a feature request through the form at:

regards,
Waqar
