[Resolved] Search view for taxonomy

This support ticket is created 3 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have a custom flat taxonomy, which also has custom fields.

I have a legacy view (I don't think it can be done in blocks?) to display the taxonomies - hidden link

I want to add a search/filter to the top of the page, so they can filter by one of the custom fields.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Your observation is correct and the taxonomy and user views are not supported in the blocks-based views editor.

While you can create a taxonomy view using the classic editor, there is no built-in feature to use term field search filters with it.
