Hello,

I am using blocks for inserting a view search capability.

When I click the "add search field", the search fields will be listed one after the other vertically.

I would like to display them next to each other horizontally (on a single line).

But it looks like there is no way to move these fields around (to change the fields order for example) or to insert them into blocks that would have been lined up horizontally (through a column block).

What's the tip to achieve that?

Thanks for your help

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

You can use the native columns block and set as many columns you want and move your filters to those columns.

Please check the following video:

Hello Minesh,

Thanks for your feedback. Actually the angle that typically is at the left hand side of a block that allows to drag and drop the block does not show for the search filters and as a result I am not able to to what Agnes is showing in her tutorial.

You can see it for yourself by editing the Page called "Annuaire" (hidden link)

(screenshot attached to help you find the filters in the Page)

Thanks for your help

I confirm that on your site I do not able to see the drag-drop icon but I just tested with my local test install where only Toolset plugins installed with default theme but I can see the drag-drop icon. Please check the following screenshot:

I have a feeling there is CSS conflict, in order to minimize the cause of the issue:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

Do you see any difference?

Hi Minesh,

Ok, thank you.

I have just reverted back to the default theme and it works as expected.

Then I have switched back again to the theme I am using right now (newspaper) and it has kept the toolset settings. This way I am able to enjoy the search filters lining up horizontally while keeping my conflicting theme! 🙂

This workaround is enough to keep me going.

Thanks again.
