For this I have not created a custom template for my store. And went under PAGES > SHOP > EDIT. Probably related to the fact that I have not created a template for the page Shop?
I have the following view as in the tutorial.
I also tried it without the Kadence Advanced Row.
Nevertheless I have the following errors
a) my layout of the views looks shot up
b) my search function is on the left, but in the frontend on the right. (hidden link)
No idea where the error is.
But probably something also to do with the fact that I can't create layouts.
Hi, I think I would need to log in and see how the View is built in the block editor. Can you provide login credentials in the private reply fields here?
Hi, yes sorry for the delay. I was unavailable Friday and Saturday and this is the first chance I've had to take a look. I'll give you an update shortly.
Okay I can see you have the Toolset Layouts plugin active. If you're starting a new site, we recommend you deactivate and delete Toolset Layouts, since the Toolset Blocks editor is the modern WordPress (Gutenberg) block editor-based way to design your site. The Layouts plugin is a legacy plugin we still support for existing sites using Toolset Layouts, but for new sites we recommend Toolset Blocks.

The general process for creating a Shop page design is to create your design in a Toolset WordPress Archive, since the shop page is essentially an archive or Products posts. The recommended workflow is described in the documentation here: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/building-a-custom-woocommerce-shop-page/
What I can see now is that you've created a custom search View and placed it in the Shop page. If you wanted to create a custom search View of Products and display it somewhere else on the site other than the Shop page, the workflow you implemented on the Search page would be perfect, you would just place that View in a different custom Page or template somewhere. However, since the Shop page is considered an "archive" in the WordPress environment, it's better to use Toolset's WordPress Archives feature in most cases to build the Shop page. That's why you see duplicate sets of results now on the Shop page, because you've essentially duplicated (in a View) the archive shown on the Shop page by default in WooCommerce.
I have now done this as you mentioned in your previous post.
But something doesn't seem right. No idea what the problem is and am by now getting really stumped. Also, I did these exact steps at the attached link.
I went to Toolset > Dashboard > Products > Create Template and had selected with a "search". No matter if I select search or not.
I understand you have a few more questions. It's best to create separate tickets for each major concern. Let's focus on getting a shop page set up, generally, in this ticket. I'm trying to get the shop page set up right now. You have quite a few plugins and customizations here, so I'm trying to narrow down the source of a few problems. I am deactivating some plugins temporarily to see if there is a conflict there, or if it's all theme-related customizations.
Hmm, the Kadence theme is definitely adding some strangeness to the Shop page. Basically it's smushing everything over into the left side of the page. I'm not sure if this is a configuration in the theme, or a problem in the theme template, but I've run out of time today to finish testing. I'm assigning this ticket to another supporter who can continue to assist you, since I'm away for the next few days. We'll get to the bottom of it as soon as possible.
For now, I've set up a basic shop archive with filters in the left column and results in the right. Until we can un-smush the content, it's difficult to see what's going on. Another supporter will continue assisting you as soon as possible.
Christian is currently on vacations so i'm handling this one for him.
Looking at your shop page, the reason why it was being smushed into a single column type layout was because the Kadence plugin Woocommerce add-on had layout attribute for the products. Essentially it was setting the page to display 3 products per row. See Screenshot
I went ahead and set this to 1 so you should now have a full width shop page now.
