Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am customizing search results and have modified the query in order to do so. This is working fine except for two aspects, which I suspect are related:
1) The max number of pages returns 1 less than it ought, which means that when my query has 25 results, the only pagination links presented are 1 and 2.

2) When I click on pagination link 2, the results are updated appropriately, however the "1" link remains greyed and the "2" remains clickable. Inspecting the page, I can see that the 'wpv_page_current' class is not added or removed as expected.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
No

Is there a similar example that we can see?
No

What is the link to your site?
hidden link

Hello,

I have tried the URL you mentioned above:
click the submit button, I get the results: No items found

And the problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) 1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to WordPress default theme 2021, deactivate all custom PHP/JS code snippets, and test again

3) Also check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:

4) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page URL and view URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

The search is set to return no results unless a search term or filter is applied.

Please load the search page, scroll to the By Type checkboxes, Click on the eLesson checkbox and the Resources checkbox.

You will see that there are "25 results", but there are only 2 pagination links. Furthermore, clicking on 2 will not change the pagination links to disable one and enable the other.
