Results of a search with different layout

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Toolset views can be split on an Elementor page to display the views search filters and the view results separately.
The user would like to split the map too.

Solution:
The map cannot be split a part from the view results.

This support ticket is created 3 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

Hi there,

How can I display the results of a search with a map in another column? As long as I know, when I display a search (using Elementor) I have the option to split the search and the results, however, in the view I created, the map is right below the results.

Please see on the screenshot that the map is on the right side.

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

What I understand so far is that you want to have the possibility to put the map from the view in its own Elementor widget, right?
If I am correct, this is not possible at the time, I can escalate it to our 2nd Tier as a feature request, just let me know.

Currently, the map is part of the results. If you want to have a specific design for the map and the result set, you will need to do it inside the view.

Yes, what I want is to have only the map from the results in a separate column. Not possible?

It is not possible to split the map on an Elementor column. But you can put the map and the results in two columns in Views, using the bootstrap grid or using your custom CSS. Then you can put the view results(which includes the map) in Elementor.
